   Yeah – I am not sold on the the Flexure Joint Caps. I think they woud get dirt and grime in them. Another thing to clean and maintain.

      The Tamarack Flexure Joint Caps conform very well to most AFOs, creating a smooth transition from the caps to the brace. They’re designed with a precise tolerance to intimately fit Tamarack Flexure Joints (both free motion and dorsiflexion assist), which helps to capture the joint body and maximize the performance of the load-bearing elements within the joints. The Tamarack Flexure Joint Caps also utilize two attachment points per side (instead of just one with traditional vacuum-forming techniques), which helps to disburse the stress on the attachment points.

      We’ve had wonderful feedback on the installation and performance of our new Tamarack Flexure Joint Caps. In most applications, traditional vacuum-forming techniques are still the “gold standard” for articulated brace design, but the Tamarack Flexure Joint Caps are a great option for retrofitting AFOs with articulating joints – saving time and money.
