The August 2010 issue of the O&P Almanac features an article about a new video titled Using a Below Knee Prosthesis to help below-knee amputees better understand how to properly use their new prosthesis. Tom Norton, CPO, FAAOP developed the video from his 17 years of experience as a prosthetist. Although there’s no substitute for physician-patient interaction, providing a video that can be reviewed in the home setting was Norton’s goal with this new video.
