Tamarack Flexure Joint Caps^™ offer an efficient and durable alternative to traditional vacuum-formed joint cavity fabrication, while also making carbon fiber laminations a breeze. Each set comes complete with an adhesive-backed drill guide, which secures to the device, where articulation is desired. After drilling a few holes and bisecting the device at the pre-identified trim lines, the orthosis is ready for finishing and assembly

One unexpected advantage of the Tamarack Flexure Joint Caps^™ is the improved medial-lateral stability that results from the Tamarack Flexure Joints being “sandwiched” between the inside device shell and reinforced outside Tamarack Flexure Joint Cap. Another advantage is the ability to articulate a previously solid AFO, which was previously only available through the use of a Tamarack Hand Molding Tool.
