One of the most annoying things about running shoe companies is that they change shoe models seemingly without reason. If you find a good shoe that fits you well, it is often nearly impossible to find the same model a year later. Here’s a short article about this from Jenny L. Sanders, DPM. This is a nice review of the Nike Air Pegasus talking about changes between model years but it is several years old. Here’s an article lamenting the discontinuation of shoe models such as the New Balance 790, but it offers no solutions. I am sure discontinued models are available on Ebay but you may not want to buy shoes that were manufactured more than a couple years ago. Are there any solutions that people can recommend?
